As I walked in I was greeted with a genuine welcome by all staff and was immediately given a mug of quality coffee by Rikki, The boss, who then passed the time of day on all things cycling, took the time to get to know where I was from and promptly invited me on a shop ride and social. The result was I spent more than I had planned and felt very much a valued customer. OTHER BIKE SHOPS TAKE NOTE, THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!! Chapeau boys 👍
Brilliant! Sorted out my gearshift and unasked sorted out my brakes too. Bike is once more a pleasure to ride, best money I have spent in ages. There's no doubt about it, a good local bike shop is priceless, and Pankhurst's is just that.

This Halfords has a good variety of products, ranging from bicycles, car and motorcycles. Road, mountain and kids bikes are all for sale here with readily available support and additional tools for sale. For the car there are things ranging from in car stereos, roof racks, bike racks, floor mats, wheels, tools and cleaning products. There is a very good range of cleaning products; I purchase many from here. For the motorcycles there are cleaning products for the bike and helmets. As well as security devices and maintenance essentials, such as engine oil. Lastly if you are after toolboxes they sell that too. The knowledge of the staff is pretty good and are willing to help.
Very helpful staff from cashier to mechanic - all were fantastic. The shop is well laid out with plenty of stock and systems to make your experience quick and easy. A Halfords that sets the bar for other stores in my opinion.
Unit 2 Savacentre,, Saver Centre, Bath Rd, Calcot, Reading RG31 7SA, UK – 0344 332 5238
Large store with good range of their products, but many items hung out of reach. Fitting room is rather basic; not sure I trust the latch on the door! Nevertheless, the prices are low which keeps people coming.
Slow service more floor staff would be good Excellent choice in the sale
