Long time member, same old wines. Although the whites are varied and my preferred tipple the reds are the same ones we have had for years. Far too many heavy reds, too few light Loire or Rhone reds. The STWC used to find great new growers now it seems the impetus has gone. As a member of 40 years at least, I am considering giving up, Tesco offer a good range!
WOW WE HAD A BOTTLE OF CURRENCY CREEK SHIRAZ 17% GLAD I BOUGHT 12 BOTTLES. ONE OF THE BEST AUSSIE RED WINES I HAVE TASTED. 100% GREAT MUST KEPT IT WARM AND LET IT BREATH FOR A HOUR..f sADLER.....................

I have played this course many times in the last 5 years. At some points I have had some moans and grumbles on the state of the course but it's always been work in progress . The course now is looking better than it ever has done. Each time I play there has been improvements made. I hope they keep that trend going. Looking foward to my next round there. Great stuff keep it up!
Great little club but play can be rushed as they fill the time slots. You are driving towards people on the green and people waiting for you to tee off every hole.. needs better spacing on tee times.. the course is really boggy when wet.

A nice venue for parties - if you love a golfer. I went for a birthday party and the clubhouse was quite well equipped to handle the party, with one minor exception. The interior seems old, but the golf club goes back to the 1930's I believe, so I give it a pass on historic grounds......not that it needed any. The bar had a wide variety of drinks available, and drinks were very nicely priced. They had all of the modern conveniences that a venue should have, except for the tinny sounding speakers they have inside the club. They cannot handle any music effectively past a certain volume level, which is a shame but it is really not that big of a deal. My bottom line - it is a nice place for party, full stop.
This course is by far one of the best in Berkshire and in great condition A joy to be a member here

My son played football here, a very nice venue. The only draw back is it is a single track into and out of the club.
Nice place but function rooms are upstairs and couldn't see any disabled access.
