Delta Force Paintball Reading

Mapledurham Estate, Reading RG4 7TR, UK – 0844 477 5119

TBH I haven't got an opinion on the actual paintballing, but as the 'taxi' driver, the access is very poor. Mapledurham Estates have let the private road deteriate to the point that it is becoming a hazard for a normal car. Cars have to pull up to let others pass approaching from the other direction, and the road edges are not only dirty and narrow, but have some nasty concrete edges which can ruin your tyres. The way out is sign posted in a much further route, going past Mapledurham House. The road is even worse, with nasty dips and holes. I assume the idea is to reduce the amount of traffic going in both directions, but I still had to give way to oncoming traffic, as well as someone driving 15mph in front of me the whole way. The car was fairly mucky on its return (rained overnight) .. only washed it last week :-(

We were at the airsoft section. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Free tea, coffee and lunch included in the £20 walk on fee. All in all a nice site. The other walk ons and rental players were very social and friendly too.

Local Parks & Gardens

Prospect Park

Liebenrood Rd, Reading RG30 2ND, UK

Quite Big, quite green and in the West part of the town. Great place to walk/run/exercise. Amenities pretty standard. Nice walkways and paths, a few courts. There is a harvester pub restaurant in the middle of it. Nice break from the urban environment.

Lovely Place, bring your family!!! Lots of squirrels and wildlife at heart shaped pond! Green kept clean.

The Arthur Newbery Park

12 Larissa Cl, Reading RG31 6LE, UK

Reading's nicest park. A mixture or cut grass, long grass, small wood and a playground. Nice views over Thames Valley and a great hill of there is snow.

Great park.. huge open space but the kids play area is in desperate need of a full refurb. A few quid has been spent in recent years but council need to rip out the 1970s style metal climbing frames and replace with something more modern and safe.

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Calcot or Berkshire. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
